KI14129 MB Round-bonnet LAK1620 with tipper platform HO

Kit. Prototype data: Construction site vehicle of epoch III. In 1958 MERCEDES-BENZ introduced completely new vehicles in the light- and medium weight class. They were designed as round bonnet vehicles, that means that the engine was partially built in the driver´s cab. Thus the vehicles became much shorter than others. Instead of the up to now freestanding mudguards and headlights the vehicles were built in compact pontoon form.
